Confession: The thing I hate the most about Dragon Age 2 is how it just seems like you lose all of your family to mindless murders. In Dragon Age, your parents always served a purpose. The one person that doesn’t die is taken away from you. I wish that there was a way to prevent all of the killings in DA2.

Also saying Leandra’s death serves no purpose had their head up their ass.
Leandra’s passing got even sadder for me after playing Legacy and Mark of the Assassin. You learn so much about Malcolm and Leandra in the DLCs, and then Hawke can literally have her entire family die off. Everything Malcolm and Leandra went through and Hawke is the only one left standing to defend a land that hunted/hated her family.
I’m gettin’ choked up here.
